Join the Student Union Board (SUB) Scavenger Hunt — a month-long challenge designed to get you exploring not just the Missouri S&T campus, but the entire Rolla community! Whether you’re solving clues, taking photos at local landmarks, or completing creative challenges, this event is your chance to have fun, meet people, and celebrate all the hidden gems our town has to offer.

SUB Scavenger Hunt Upload Agreement

Thank you for participating in the Student Union Board (SUB) Scavenger Hunt! Please read and agree to the following terms before submitting your entry.

1. Upload Format

Your entire submission must be uploaded as a single ZIP file. Submissions not in ZIP format may be disqualified or rejected.

2. File Naming Convention

Please name your ZIP file using the following format: Last Name, First Name (email address)

Example: Miner, Joe (joeminer@mst.edu).zip

3. Permission to Use Content

By uploading your submission (photo, video, or text), you grant the Student Union Board (SUB) at Missouri S&T the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for promotional purposes, including on social media, websites, and print materials.

4. Appropriate Content

All submissions must be appropriate for a campus-wide audience and must not include:

  • Profanity, nudity, or explicit gestures
  • Offensive, discriminatory, or inflammatory content
  • Dangerous or illegal behavior

SUB reserves the right to disqualify or remove content that does not meet these guidelines.

5. Consent and Rights

By submitting your work, you confirm that:

  • You are the original creator of the content
  • You have the consent of anyone visible or heard in the content
  • Your submission does not violate copyright or intellectual property laws
6. Liability

You acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and at your own risk. SUB and Missouri S&T are not liable for any injury, loss, or damages resulting from your participation or submission.

7. Submission Window

Submissions will be accepted from April 1st, 2025 at 12:00 AM through April 30th, 2025 at 11:59 PM (Central Time). Entries submitted outside of this window may not be considered for judging or inclusion in the event.

8. Agreement

By uploading your ZIP file, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Upload Agreement.
