CAMPUS TRADITIONS
The purpose of this committee is to celebrate long-standing campus traditions that contribute to school spirit and culture. Students plan a variety of events including the week long Homecoming celebration in the fall, the activity packed Block Party, and a Welcome Back Night for each semester.
MARKETING
The purpose of this committee is to advertise for SUB events on campus through many outlets such as posters, digital TVs, and social media. They work with many computer programs such as Photoshop and video software.
Live Entertainment
The purpose of this committee is to provide students with a fun night out with large scale musical performances. The concerts committee chooses performers, plans, and runs the concert for the campus each semester and collaborates with other organizations.
LEISURE & RECREATION
The purpose of this committee is to implement a variety of events for students to enjoy. The committee chooses, plans, and organizes all aspects of these events, ranging from unique homegrown ideas and game shows to relaxation days before finals, a campus wide Easter egg hunt, and poker tournament.
LIGHT & SOUND
The purpose of this committee is to provide professional level technical expertise for lighting and sound for SUB events, Greek activities, and other events on campus. No experience is necessary - even training is provided for those new to the tech world!
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES & RENTALS
The purpose of this committee is to provide campus with outdoor equipment that is cheap to rent for S&T students. Many types of equipment are available such as tents, canoes, outdoor games, and much more. The committee also plans events on campus such as zipline adventures, rock walls, and even takes students on float trips.
